How do you travel around the world in less than six months?
The travel agent has to do it all himself, from booking accommodation, booking flights, and finding a place to stay.
But, to get the best deal, he says, he needs to be familiar with the local language.
“You need to know the people, the people are local, they have their own culture and their own language.
You can’t be too picky about that,” he says.”
There are so many different things to be able to do, from exploring the city to meeting people.
You’ve got to be on top of that, you’ve got so many things you can do.
It’s all about understanding the language and how it relates to the other culture.”
As he prepares for the holidays, Mr Sargent says he is trying to keep his expectations realistic.
“I’ve got some really nice holidays coming up so I’ve got this little plan to make it as easy as possible,” he said.
“But I do think it’s good to look at the short term and not worry too much about the long term.”
